The Racebook in Ohio

In addition, Caesars Racebook leverages the Caesars Rewards loyalty program to give bettors the chance to earn special experiences with every wager.

Thanks to the collaboration, Caesars will be able to progress further into horse racing bets, which produced $12.2 billion in pari-mutuel gambling handling in 2021. In addition, all added benefits of NYRA Bets, like race replays, and handicapping insights are available to Caesars Racebook players.

Making friends

The Caesars Racebook’s opening follows a massacre of large collaborations with Caesars Sportsbook, which is now operating in more than 20 states.

While Caesars Sportsbook Ohio is involved in other types of racing, it has recently announced that it is the complete sports betting partner of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). As a result, many of the other IMS races in 2022, along with the Indycar Gallagher Grand Prix on July 30 and NASCAR’s Verizon 200 at the Brickyard on July 31, will be sponsored by Caesars.

Expansion Efforts & Partnership to Drive Growth

Caesars Entertainment will continue to place a premium on planned alliances to expand its business. Caesars Superdome and the Arizona Diamondbacks are now part of the company’s collaboration. In 2020, Caesars Entertainment’s William Hill confirmed the very first sportsbook inside the world-renowned Capital One Arena, which is part of the U.S. sports complex. Meanwhile, the company is working hard to strengthen its ties with professional sports leagues and teams. It has partnered with the NHL, MLB and NBA to achieve this goal and serves as the NFL’s official casino and sports betting partner.

Sunny ways

Caesars’ arrival into the Florida sports betting sector is certainly pleasant news for gamblers in the Sunshine State’s otherwise struggling industry. Types of legal wagering in Florida are pari-mutuel horse racing, retail casino gaming, and the Florida state lottery.

After a federal judge struck down a gaming compact between both the state and the Seminole Tribe, Hard Rock Sportsbook’s effort to bring online sports betting to Florida via its sportsbook app in November 2021 was suspended just one month later. While the case is still pending in the courts, this has basically put a stop to sports betting in Florida for the time being.

The judge’s decision came too late for Atlanta Falcons receiver Calvin Ridley, who was suspended for the 2022 season. Calvin Ridley allegedly bet on NFL games with Hard Rock during a five-day period in late November 2021.

However, Ohio gamblers will have to settle for horse racing for the time being, as the state is still months away from being able to legally use Caesars Sportsbook. Despite the fact that the bill to authorize sports betting in Ohio was signed into law in December, authorities have set a date for wagering to begin on Jan. 1, 2023.

With the introduction of the Caesars Racebook in around 30 states throughout the US, they look forward to bringing new horse racing customers and loyal fans onto the platform.
